The spirit of chess. A new dimension of strategy.
Four players. Two teams. One connected, cross-shaped battlefield.
Familiar chess pieces move across four connected board sections, creating new lines of attack, unexpected defenses, and new ways to coordinate with your teammate.

Commilito Scacci began as an idea that stayed with me for more than 30 years. Over the past year, I finally set out to build it.
Instead of playing two separate chess games, teammates compete within one connected playing space. Moves across the board can open new routes, create threats in unexpected places, and change how both teammates approach the position.
It still has the familiar pieces and strategic thinking of chess—but the cross-shaped board creates a different kind of challenge.
The quickest way to understand Commilito Scacci is to watch it in motion. Visit the Team Chess channel for short clips showing the board and the game in action.

With a multiplayer beta token, you can browse public games or arrange a private match.
A public listing does not mean entry is automatic; the host controls admission.
Private games are useful when you've arranged a match with friends or a group in advance.
Still in beta: the easiest way to get a match going is to arrange a time with other players ahead of time.
I'm an independent developer bringing a long-standing game idea to life. Commilito Scacci is a work in progress, and thoughtful feedback from players will help shape its future.
